These difficult-to-manage behaviors manifest for a variety of reasons. We will help you get to the root of the problem and implement effective tools to help you and your pet live a happier life together.

Veterinary Behavior Solutions is a veterinary practice focusing exclusively on behavior medicine and acupuncture.  We are one of the only veterinary practices in North Texas that only sees behavior cases. We believe that a team approach best serves you and your pet.

Dr. Amanda Florsheim is a veterinarian who is a certified behavior consultant-canine (CBCC-KA) and IVAS-trained in acupuncture, which can benefit behavior as well as many other health issues.

Jess Jones is a licensed veterinary technician pursuing her behavior specialty.  She assists with appointments, can see you and your pet for hands-on follow- up session, and provides phone and email follow-up to help you implement your training and medication protocols.

Our facility, The Training Studioincludes many talented, well-educated trainers who value the science behind behavior modification and adhere to the humane hierarchy. They can be a valuable, integral part in achieving behavior goals for your pet.*

Our dedicated assistants will answer your questions and help you schedule your appointment with care and compassion. Call or email and we’ll get started.

*Veterinary Behavior Solutions frequently refers clients to its sister business, The Training Studio. However, if you are currently working with a local trainer who uses appropriate training methods, we encourage you to continue working with them on the training plan provided by Dr. Florsheim.
